Question 1

What areas do you serve for courier services?

Accepted Answer

We provide courier services throughout Mobile County, Baldwin County, and Escambia County (AL) and the surrounding Gulf Coast region, including Mobile, Prichard, Saraland, Chickasaw, Citronelle, Satsuma, Semmes, Daphne, Fairhope, Bay Minette, Foley, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Brewton, and Atmore. For destinations outside our standard service area, contact us at 1-800-396-1710 to discuss availability.

Question 2

How is the courier fee calculated?

Accepted Answer

Courier fees are calculated using the current IRS standard mileage rate of $0.76 per mile (2026 Jul–Dec), applied to the driving distance between your origin and destination. Round-trip bookings double the mileage. You'll see the exact fee before you confirm your booking — there are no hidden charges.

Question 3

How far in advance do I need to book?

Accepted Answer

We require a minimum of 2 hours' advance notice for all courier bookings. This ensures we can properly schedule your pickup and confirm availability. For same-day or urgent needs, call us directly at 1-800-396-1710 to discuss options.

Question 4

What days and times are available for pickup?

Accepted Answer

Pickups are available Monday through Saturday. Monday through Friday, time slots run from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Saturday slots are available from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM. We are closed on Sundays.

Question 5

What types of documents can you courier?

Accepted Answer

We courier legal documents, court filings, contracts, medical records, business correspondence, and other sensitive materials. All documents are handled with strict confidentiality. If you have questions about a specific document type, call us at 1-800-396-1710.

Question 6

How do I pay for courier services?

Accepted Answer

Payment is completed securely online after you submit your booking. You'll receive a booking confirmation email with your reference number and a link to return to our site to complete payment. We accept all major credit and debit cards.

Question 7

What is a round-trip booking?

Accepted Answer

A round-trip booking means our courier travels from the origin to the destination and then returns to the origin. This is useful when you need documents delivered and a response or signed copy retrieved. The fee is calculated based on the total round-trip mileage.

Question 8

Will I receive a confirmation after booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Once you submit your booking, you'll receive a confirmation email at the address you provide. The email includes your booking reference number, trip details, and instructions for completing payment. Keep your booking reference handy — you'll need it to complete your payment online.

Question 9

Can I include a case or reference number with my booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The booking form includes an optional field for a case or reference number. Including this helps us match your delivery to the correct matter and ensures accurate documentation on our end.

Question 10

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Accepted Answer

To cancel or reschedule a courier booking, contact us as soon as possible at 1-800-396-1710 or sapslegal@gmx.us. Please include your booking reference number. Cancellation and rescheduling policies depend on how close to the pickup date you contact us.

Question 11

Is my information kept confidential?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. SAPS Legal & Process Server Services handles all client information and documents with strict confidentiality. We do not share your personal information or document contents with any third parties outside of what is required to complete your service.

Question 12

How is SAPS Legal different from a standard courier company?

Accepted Answer

SAPS Legal specializes in legal document delivery. Our team understands the sensitivity, timing requirements, and chain-of-custody standards that legal matters demand. We are not a general parcel service — every courier run is handled by professionals familiar with the legal industry.
